WIB

WIB, founded in 1961 in Switzerland, originated from the merger of two small industrial bearing companies in the local area. In 1970, WIB made the decision to produce miniature bearings with an outer diameter smaller than 17 millimeters, primarily for the textile industry and other special applications. By 1987, WIB had expanded its product line to include thin-section bearings. WIB went through several changes in ownership, with British company RHP acquiring WIB in 1989, and then NSK acquiring RHP in 1990, which meant that WIB became part of NSK. Four years later, in February 2003, Canada's RotoPrecision company acquired WIB.
