Takuchi Seiko Co., Ltd., known by its brand name TSK, was established in 1964 in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The company's founder, Mitsuo Takeuchi, continues to serve as the Chairman and actively participates in decision-making processes. In addition to its headquarters and factory in Fukushima, TSK expanded its presence globally by establishing subsidiaries in the United States (Ohio) in 1995 and a factory in Vietnam in 2005, enabling the distribution of TSK products worldwide.
Public information reveals that the TSK headquarters currently employs 130 staff members. Despite its relatively small size, the company has thrived over nearly 60 years of development. It is difficult to imagine how a company of such scale could sustain itself in the domestic bearing manufacturing industry. Two aspects of TSK's corporate culture have left a deep impression on me, perhaps serving as the secret to their competitiveness: Firstly, TSK aims to become a "unique partner" for its customers by creating product value that sets them apart from competitors. Secondly, TSK values employees who are willing to try new things and learn from failure, rather than those who prefer to maintain the status quo without making any changes.
Product Portfolio
TSK's offerings are linear guides, linear actuators, ball splines, crossed roller guides, ball screws, ball bushings, lead screws, and linear guide systems.
