KBC

The KBC brand stands for Korea Bearing Company, which is the abbreviation for the Korean Bearing Company. It originated from the establishment of Shinhan Bearing Industry Co., Ltd. in 1953, which was later renamed Korea Bearing Industry Co., Ltd. in 1964. In 1995, KBC merged with Hanwha Machinery Co., Ltd. and subsequently established joint ventures separately with NSK and SKF before selling the joint venture shares to NSK and SKF. In 1998, KBC and FAG established FAG Hanwha Bearings Co., Ltd., with FAG holding a 70% stake. In 2003, FAG was acquired by INA, forming the Schaeffler Group, and KBC became one of the bearing brands under the Schaeffler Group.

KBC's main product lines are deep groove ball bearings and other types of radial ball bearings. Since its establishment, KBC has been one of the most renowned bearing brands in the electric motor industry and enjoys a high reputation in this field. KBC manufactures a full range of motor bearings with various tolerances, clearances, sealing options, and protective covers.
