The linear bearing brand is called EASE, and the company is known as EASE Seiko Co., Ltd. It was officially established in Osaka, Japan, in 1968, with Masao Kubo as its first Chairman. Initially, EASE collaborated with KOYO through contract manufacturing. Tracing its roots, EASE can be traced back to the Tsugawa Precision Grinding Research Institute, founded in 1947 by the grandfather of the current Chairman of EASE, Katsuhira Kubo.
Katsuhira Kubo, the current Chairman, joined EASE in 1989. It was during this year that EASE began collaborating with THK on linear bearing products. EASE has not aggressively expanded overseas. Apart from the headquarters and factory in Osaka, established when EASE was founded, the company has three other factories located near Osaka: EASE Sakai Factory, EASE Matsubara Factory, and EASE Hanada Factory.
